Join us for our Picnic To Go!Posted on September 27, 2013
Good Morning Everyone,
It’s fall and it’s such wonderful weather to be out and about in our region! Sunny walks, colours galore and the smells of ‘harvest’ everywhere. We hope you will enjoy the Doors Open events this weekend and do some local exploring and learn more about the heritage of our area. We are fortunate to have so many amazing structures and the fine folks in our town are happy to show and tell!
As you make your way around town, we also hope you will stop by the Arthur Child Museum on Saturday, Sept.28th and join us in our 1st Annual Picnic To Go lunch as well! Beginning at 11:00am, a tasty selection of fresh sandwiches, home-made cookies, crispy fall apples and lemonade will be ready to take along with you in your travels OR you are most welcome to enjoy your lunch and the views along the inviting waterfront areas!
The cost for your Picnic To Go is just $5.00 per person and as always, we truly appreciate your ongoing support of our many museum projects. We would also like to thank Doug Hill of Gananoque Secondary School and his great student catering crew for their help in making this such a fun event for all to enjoy!
We hope to see everyone out and about on Saturday and just so you know, I have ordered sunshine and a light breeze to top off your day! How’s that for thinking ahead! See you Saturday!
And for a ponder for today–
